8D7N Kansai Trip- Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, USJ 24 May-31 May Itinerary

Day 1- 24 May 2017


Flight from KLIA2 : 8 a.m.
Reach Kansai airport : 4.25 p.m. (Japanese Time; 1 hr later than Malaysia time) it is a 6hrs++ flight

1. Kansai Tourism centre
- to buy Nara bus pass, Osaka Amazing pass


2. JR Counter
- to buy JR Haruka Express pass


3. Take JR Haruka Express train from Kansai airport directly to Kyoto Station.
- Duration of the train: 90 mins

4. From Kyoto Station, take JR train to Nijo station.

5. First day shopping at 高木批发超市三条店
- This shop is a wholesale shop, so the product price here is comparatively lower than any other shop. It is worth shopping here. And it provide tax free service (Japanese airport do not have tax refund counter, tax refund can only be done in the participating individual shops which stated they have tax free, and you need to purchase above 5000yen to be eligible for the tax refund). (****but bear in mind, if you opt for tax free, they will pack the item for you, you can't use in Japan)

Day 2- 25 May 2017


1. Yasaka Jinja
- It is open 24 hrs


2. Okamoto near Yasaka Jinja
- For Kimono

3. Gion street


4. Nishiki Market
- lunch here


5. Kiyomizu-dera Temple


6. Sannenzaka, Totoro shop, Ninenzaka, Ishibei-koji street, Hanami koji street



7. Return Kimono

8. Fushimi Inari Taisha


9. Kyoto station - 拉面小路
- dinner


10. Potoncho alley, Kamo River
- Kamo river is very windy and there are people singing nearby. We sat by the riverside and feel the cool breeze, you can get a can of beer from the convenient shop and enjoy. (Just remember to bring your rubbish home, leave no rubbish behind)



Day 3- 26 May 2017

1. Kyoto station
- store the luggage here (there's actually baggage room but we do not want to wait until baggage room open), buy Station Bento (for lunch)




2. Arashiyama
- eat their famous tofu, bamboo forest



3. Nonomiya Jinja


4. Randen station
- Kimono forest , nearby shop for famous Korokke (Nakamuraya)




5. Togetsukyo Bridge




6. Picnic at Arashiyama Park
- with that Station bento bought earlier


7. Fufunoyo Onsen


8. Saga station (one way- will arrive at Kameoka station)
- Sagano Romantic train




9. Back to Kyoto station, travel to Osaka station
- collect luggage

10. Osaka station to Namba station, Namba park, walk to Airbnb stay
-Namba park is just a shopping centre park like 1 Utama in Malaysia just the weather is so much colder than Malaysia when we were there (end spring) LOL (**Too cold, I was wearing shorts and T-shirt that time, not be able to take photo, I was shivering. very windy, very cold wind at that time)

11. Izakaya
-for dinner.


namely Izakaya, so you much order beer. so.... That's what happened ! 




Day 4- 27 May 2017

1. Osaka Castle 
- museum, park







2. One piece shop (Japanese not allow, don't ask me why because I also don't know)
- no photography allowed

3. Osaka Kaiyukan Aquarium



4. Okonomiyaki (nearby Kaiyukan)
- late lunch


5. Santa Maria Twilight cruise
(***Strongly recommended! The view you get is priceless! )




6. Tempozan Ferris Wheel
- (can see from the above picture) hahahahaaa too lazy to take picture of each and everyone item. Lolz

7. Spa Suminoe

Day 5- 28 May 2017

1. Kuromon Ichiba Market
-breakfast, lunch, super breakfast, you call it. Because here is about food and food and endless tasty food. Make sure you have got enough yen for that

Day 6- 29 May 2017

1. Breakfast before Nara - Sukiya

- this is super good! must try! and they will have times when they hit the mochi skin in front of you.

6. Nara Park 
- bought the deer senpai and feed them. remember to keep it high, out of their sight and nose. otherwise, be prepared to be showered by deers' saliva.

Day 7- 30 May 2017

1. Universal Studio Japan
- my main purpose is Harry Potter and Harry Potter and Harry Potter! LOL



**There is Jump Shop outside of USJ, selling various kind of anime products!

1. Kansai airport

3. Flight : 3.40 p.m. (Japanese time) 
Luggage wrapping is at departure hall (level 4) towards A direction.
